Scrip Program

$crip is the same as using cash—

$crip cards or certificates are exchanged dollar value for dollar purchase. The advantage of using $crip, however, is that each vendor returns a certain percentage to the parish. The percentage given back by the vendor is divided in half. One half goes to the parish and one half goes to you in the form of school tuition credit, Faith Formation credit, Youth Ministry, Adult Catholic Education, retreats, etc. For example: You purchase $100.00 worth of Kwik Trip with a return percentage of 5%, or $5. The parish receives $2.50 and you receive $2.50 to the account you designate.

How to purchase $crip—

Visit either of our $crip desks at the Kimberly Parish Center or Darboy School Lobby. On the top of the $crip order form, write the name of the family to whom you want the credit to go and the phone number for that family. The correct phone number is very important. It assures that the credit will be given to the appropriate account. Next, circle the area you want your portion of the credit to go: Parish, School, or Other (designate F.F., CHWC, etc.). Finally, fill out the spaces indicating the type and amount of $crip you wish to purchase. In exchange for your cash or check, you will receive the $crip certificates you desire.

Local $crip—

We have a list of over 60 vendors who accept local $crip. You must fill out the back of the local $crip to receive your credit. There is a space on the back for the name and phone number of the person you want to receive credit. For example: You use local $crip, but have no one in school or Faith Formation. You can give all the credit to the parish; or, if you have a grandchild or maybe a niece or nephew or neighbor in school, you can give the credit to them by simply signing their name and phone number on the back. With local $crip, you receive your credit when the vendor returns the $crip to us for redemption.

Note:

If you are accustomed to giving gift cards for gifts, you could complete your shopping at the $crip table in either Darboy or Kimberly.

$crip will be sold from 4:15 – 5:30 p.m. whenever Faith Formation/Religious Ed classes are in session at the Darboy campus.  Please enter school by way of the carport doors in the back of school.  A hall monitor will let you in.
