2015 Ripples of Hope Ministry Accomplishments:

  • Easter 2015: Sixty bags of chocolate covered pretzel rods were made by members and given to families at the Emergency Shelter to let them know we care
  • May Day 2015: Flowers and a note of well wishes for a Happy Spring were delivered door to door to neighbors around the block of the church. This was a way to reach out in friendship from our parish.
  • October Fest 2015: This is the Ripples of Hope annual fundraiser. We raised $800 selling Walking Tacos and Crepes.
  • Thanksgiving 2015: Six families were provided a Thanksgiving meal thanks to the generosity of several local grocery stores and other donations.
  • Christmas 2015: The Ripples of Hope Christmas giving program was able to provide Christmas joy to 8 families. We received a grant from Thrivent. Blankets from Project Linus were provided to each person.

We could not have brought hope to those we did this past year without the many hands and hearts that came forward to help.

If you are interested in sharing your thoughts and ideas on how we can continue bring Christ’s hands and feet to others, you are welcome to attend our monthly meetings which are every 2nd Tuesday of the month at the parish center library at 5:30 pm.

Who we are

Ripples of Hope Ministry Mission:

Ripples of Hope will be a beacon that shines a bright light on the true meaning of living out the Gospel by being the hands and feet of Christ

Ripples of Hope Ministry Vision:

Ripples of Hope is engaged, passionate parishioners striving to make a difference in the life of others that started November 2014

Ripples of Hope was founded group of parishioners after reading the book "Fields of the Fatherless" by Tom Davis. We are now following the call of the Gospel of spreading God's love and being Christ to others through physical and spiritual nourishment to those in need, assisting others along their life's journey to lessen their hardships and struggles, and bring joy, smiles and hope to others.

Ripples of Hope: Our Story

In the fall of 2014, a group of parishioners met together to read and discuss the book, "Fields of the Fatherless, by Tom Davis. During Biblical times, God instructed His people to always leave a portion of their crops for those in need. Today, God's heart continues to beat for the poor, the widows, and the fatherless. The author encouraged us to move beyond words and become Christ to those in need. As a group, we are reaching out to others in the parish who would be interested in joining our mission which is: to be Christ to others through our actions of love and giving of ourselves.
