Youth and Family Step Up Mass
The second Sunday of every month is Step Up Sunday- we at Holy Spirit Parish are calling our young people and families to step-up to be the leaders at the evening Mass. Can you volunteer one Sunday a year?
Chazoo Warriors – “Taking Up the Shield of Faith”
You can find them on Youtube, running around the streets carrying a mattress, or leading a high school retreat. These are the bright green shirted Chazoo Warriors. If you are in 8th through 11th grade and would like to get involved with this amazing (and quite crazy) group of kids, applications are available for you! Growing in your faith, learning leadership skills, making a difference in Holy Spirit Parish, being surrounded by friends with similar beliefs, receiving sweet t-shirts, eating lots of pizza, and getting plenty of socializing time are all included. Apply now- look under youth ministry forms for an application.
Make a Difference Day
Every October our middle schoolers head out into the community for a day of Fall cleanup for those in need of assistance. High schoolers attend as leaders of this retreat. The day includes Mass, food, lots of raking & jumping in piles of leaves, and bowling. This year’s date is Sunday Oct 25, 2015.
Neopit Advent Project
This Advent, school, parish and RE families will collect toys and other needed items to be delivered to St. Anthony’s Parish on the Menominee Indian Reservation, Neopit, WI. Youth play Santa Clause and deliver the toys on Friday December 18, 2015.
