Some general questions you may have - as a parent or Youth!


1. Wait… wasn’t this supposed to be an overnight event?
Yep, that was the original plan! But we heard from parents and youth alike that they’d rather head home at night, so we made a change. No overnight stay at the parish—just two awesome days packed with fun, faith, and service!

2. How do I sign up? What is the cost?
Super easy! We’re using Flocknote, the same program we use for Faith Formation registration. Just hop on, fill out the details, and boom—you’re in! There is a $50 non-refundable registration fee. We offer scholarships. Please reach out if this is a need. Scrip can also be used and is refunded after payment is made!

3. How do students get to the service sites?
Our amazing adult volunteers (maybe even you?) will be driving groups to their service locations. We need lots of awesome grown-ups (21+) to help lead and drive, so if that sounds like you, fill out the volunteer form in the registration link. We’ll take care of the rest—including VIRTUS training!

4. What if I don’t know anyone going?
No worries at all! You’ll be assigned to a service group, so you’ll have plenty of time to meet new friends. Adventure + teamwork = instant connections!

5. What should I bring?
Think comfy and ready-for-anything! Wear clothes that you can move (and maybe get a little messy) in, bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and a great attitude. We’ll send a full packing list before the event! (Simple dress code: Clothing covers neck to knees)

6. What’s the schedule like?
Two jam-packed days of adventure! Expect Mass, impactful service projects, lunch with friends, and fun activities. We’ll have reflection time and Adoration too—it’s the perfect mix of action and faith!

7. Is lunch and dinner provided?
You bet! We’ll keep everyone fueled up with delicious food, so no need to bring your own. (Let us know any allergies when you register - or if you'd like to help out here!)

8. What kind of service projects will we do?
We’ll be helping out in real ways that make a difference! That could mean sorting donations, helping at a food pantry, cleaning up community spaces, or spreading kindness through small acts of service. You’ll find out more when you get your group assignment!

9. Can parents help out too?
Absolutely! We’d love extra hands to drive, lead, or help behind the scenes. Just sign up through the volunteer form when you register your student.
