CHWC Packing List

Each person is required to bring the following items to CHWC.  We depend on campers for these tools and supplies. Please turn these tools in a the registration table when you arrive at your camp location.  

These will not be returned to you.

• Paintbrush
• Roller Cover
• Drop cloth
• Painters tape (optional)
• Paint tray or small bucket (optional)
• Paint scraper (optional)
• Rags for cleaning (optional)
• Hand Sanitizer
• 1 disinfectant Lysol (spray or wipes)

• Small insulated water jug
• Facemasks for worksite (minimum of four)
• Safety Goggles
• Work Gloves
• Tool-grade facemask for scraping/painting

• Masks for each day ( 7 days total)
• Photo Id
• Money for 4 meals on the road
• Money for souveniers
• Have a "safe keeping" plan for cell phones/money
• Medications in a plastic ziplock bag with child's name (will be given to adult leader to hold)
• Pillow
• Sheets & Blanket
• Foam Pad or Air Mattress (Twin only)
• Casual/comfortable clothes for bus ride and free time
  • Mon- Thurs we will have HSP Dress Up Theme nights
• Old T-shirts with sleeves(shirts without sleaves not permitted) for worksite
• Work jeans or shorts for worksite
• Shorts(must be long)
• Socks
• Sturdy shoes or work boots
• Cap/hat
• Rain Gear (optional)
• Bathing Suit & Flip Flops(mandatory for showers)
• Toothbrush/toothpaste
• Feminine products

• Free day- swimsuit and towel  (girls, one piece swimsuits only or a two-piece with a tank top cover up)

Adult Leaders- bring 1 cooler and 1 snack bin

• Fold up drying rack for swimsuits

• Layers of clothing
• Dress code PJs(totally opt)
• Change of clothing for Sunday morning (totally opt)

• Try to avoird energy drinks because it dyhydrates. We also have quiet hours on the bus from 11p-7a.
• A few snacks
• G&PG Movies (labeled with your name)
• Portable Charger
• Headphones
• Personal care items like toothbrush, deodorant, hair ties, brush
• Pillow, stuffed animal, blanket
• $$ for meals
• Pro tip- footwear that easily slide on and off
• Pro-tip- Sleep mask for eyes

To help foster relationship-building and for safety reasons media players/cell phones are restricted to sleeping area and are only to be used with personal headphones. 

Media players are not allowed at worksites, on school grounds or outside of the sleeping quarters.

Cell phones must be kept off and out of site at the worksites, on bus and outside of sleeping quarters (unless taking photos, and no, Snapchat does not count as photo-taking:)- 

• T-shirts with offensive/suggestive symbols
• T-shirts without sleeves
• Backless or strapless clothing, bare midriffs, low necklines
• Short Shorts
• Drugs/alcohol
• 2 piece swimsuits for water park (unless you also wear a tank top)
