If you are interested in sharing your thoughts and ideas on how we can continue to bring Christ’s hands and feet to others. you are welcome to attend our monthly meetings which are every 4th Tuesday of the month at 6:00 pm via Zoom.

This plans and facilitates parish response to those in need of help and advocacy beyond the parish such as legislative issues and prison ministry support of life from conception through natural death, care for the earth’s resources and the environment,
Advent and Lenten projects,
helping agencies in the Fox Valley,
and support local and global mission parishes. This committee meets monthly.

- A Community Meal is served every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 5:30-6:30 PM at St. Therese Activity Center 213 E. Wisconsin Avenue in Appleton.
- The purpose is to provide meals to those who cannot afford to eat adequately or to those who would otherwise be alone.
- Volunteers are welcome and needed to help serve these meals.

Being Cool For School Sock Drive
- This annual Sock Drive happens each July and is for children and youth of the Neopit to help them prepare for another school year.
- Donations are given to the Community Clothes Closet to prepare for their annual Fall Family Day.

Holy Spirit volunteers prepare and serve meals at the Emergency Shelter in Appleton on the evening of the third Friday of the month. -
Lenten Bottles for Change

when and where are the bottles given out-who gets the money
- This is a monetary collection beginning Ash Wednesday through the Easter Season.
- Parishioners are encouraged to fast from wants and needs and donate the savings to support agencies in the Fox Valley that help mothers and their children.
- Holy Spirit Parish provides bottles to put your change into and then can be returned at your convenience during the Easter Season.

Thanksgiving Day Mass Collection
- 9:00 AM at Church in Kimberly on Thanksgiving Day.
- You are invited to bring a paper bag of non-perishable food items and place it near the altar when you arrive.
- If you prefer to make a cash donation, place an envelope marked “Thanksgiving” in the collection.
- Monies go into the Social Concern savings account and will be given to agencies and persons in need.

Ripples of Hope is engaged, passionate parishioners striving to make a difference in the life of others that started November 2014
Ripples of Hope was founded by a group of parishioners after reading the book "Fields of the Fatherless" by Tom Davis. We are now following the call of the Gospel of spreading God's love and being Christ to others through physical and spiritual nourishment to those in need, assisting others along their life's journey to lessen their hardships and struggles, and bring joy, smiles and hope to others.
Ripples of Hope: Our Story
In the fall of 2014, a group of parishioners met together to read and discuss the book, "Fields of the Fatherless, by Tom Davis. During Biblical times, God instructed His people to always leave a portion of their crops for those in need. Today, God's heart continues to beat for the poor, the widows, and the fatherless. The author encouraged us to move beyond words and become Christ to those in need. As a group, we are reaching out to others in the parish who would be interested in joining our mission which is: to be Christ to others through our actions of love and giving of ourselves.
