It is an incredible challenge to live in imitation of the life of Christ. We all face obstacles, opportunities, and challenges, living in a fast-paced environment with many responsibilities. However, a clear sense of purpose, nourished by the Eucharist and our rich Catholic tradition, opens the door for us to actively commit to a life of gratitude and responsibility; to thank God for His endless gifts, and then to decide what we can do to help the world. The rewards include:
Responsible for the development of policies related to the religious education of students who attend public schools. The committee plans and supports fundraisers and special events for our catechists, students, and families.
Meets six times a year.
Program for kindergarten through grade 4 on Sundays at the 9:30 am Mass from September through May.

This annual drive invites alumni, parishioners, and corporate givers to direct a contribution to one of three educational programs: Holy Spirit School, Faith Formation, or Youth Ministry.
Major efforts during the year include the Annual Campaign for Education and the weekly Bingo concessions.
Works with the children in grades 1-5 in the Faith Formation Program. Classes are held on Wednesday late afternoon/early evenings September through April.
Works with the children in grades 6-8 in the Faith Formation Program. Classes meet Wednesday evenings September through April.
Lead small group of about ten high school students.
Leaders will receive training on leading small groups as well as weekly prep material.
This year students are taking the Alpha course during the fall and the spring.
Groups watch a video, then enter into a small group discussion.
This is the same source as the adults but offered for high school students.
Comprised of parish mom's and dad's, couples, both young and old. We currently meet the 3rd Monday of each month from 9:30am-11am.
We will look at alternative meeting time to accomodate our growing team. Children's presence (and comic relief) are ALWAYS welcomed at every meeting.
Individuals and/or couples serve as Baptismal Ministers including providing a comfortable and warm welcome to baptism families at Mass and after Mass. Baptismal Ministers are scheduled at your preferred Mass based on your availability. This role is easy enough for a Mom and Dad to share duties even with little ones in the pew. Older children(in 8th grade or higher) are also eligible to assist along with another adult.
Additionally, the baptismal minister and other volunteers are always needed to help assemble the gifts provided to baptism families.
Couples (new and experienced) are welcome to join this extension of the FLM committee to help plan and host "Two Become One" Marriage Enrichment Nights.
As part of the gift, the newly baptized receive an all-white small prayer shawl to symbolize their new life in Christ.
Shawl patterns may vary, but color must be white.
The committee helps to coordinate and host various family friendly events including Christmas Caroling at a local nursing home and Christmas Movie Night at the beginning of Advent.
June through August
We have red Children's Worship Bags available at both the Kimberly and Darboy Churches that require seasonal updating and maintaining along with the activity/coloring sheets throughout Liturgical Calendar.
Hours for volunteers are especially flexible in this area.
Parent group dedicated to volunteer activities at the school.
All parishioners, school parents, and relations are welcome to celebrate Mass each Wednesday at 8:15am in Darboy.
Special Masses throughout the school year are posted in the bulletin and the school newsletter.
Usually the last week in January, Holy Spirit Catholic School joins Catholic schools throughout the nation to recognize the traditions and values of Catholic education.
Many school activities scheduled this week.
The Education Committee is advisory to the principal for the educational programs of the Catholic School under the rules outlined by the Diocese of Green Bay. This committee meets monthly and assists in the areas of policy development, marketing, curriculum, finances, and long-range planning.

Annual craft fair, luncheon, and homemade candy sale held the first weekend in November.

This annual spring event brings people together through a golf outing to raise funds specifically for technology at the school.
A faith sharing group centered around fellowship, a video, and small group discussions.
The focus is to develop and deepen your relationship with Jesus.
Groups meet weekly for thirteen weeks.
A study group that prepares for the upcoming Sunday readings meets in Kimberly at the Parish Center on Thursdays at 9:30 am from September through May.
This 28 -hour retreat weekend is unlike any you may have previously attended.
Among many other things, parishioners experience with one another the ways they have found peace, meaning, hope, and love in their lives.
The experience is personal, inspirational and fulfilling.
Many participants who have experienced CRHP consider this weekend one of the most powerful and positive experiences of their lives.
Developement & maintenace of parish property, building facilities & capital equipment.
Plans and oversees the parish budget, advises on revenue and expenditures, and monitors financial contols as they relate to the goals and mission established by Parish Council.
Holy Angels & Holy Name Cemeteries
Committee members are informed, involved, and concerned about the operation of the parish cemeteries.
This committee currently meets bi-annually or as needed.

This group defines, prays, imagines, visions, and listens to God and the people of this local church. They offer goals and further the vision and mission of the parish in concrete ways. Their task is to counsel the pastor and the people of Holy Spirit Parish.
We are always identifying areas for ministry that would further enhance services to our parishioners and the community.
If you have a talent that you would like to share that is not included in an existing ministry, please let us know.
It could be an area that is a future goal.

Promotes stewardship as a way of life for all members of the parish community. Coordinates the annual stewardship campaign each November.
In addition to Stewardship, the committee promotes Evangelization in the parish and community by hosting book discussions.
The committee meets monthly.
Trustees are corporate officers of the Parish. They oversee the financial condition of the Parish, sign checks, and consult and advise the Pastor.
The Secretary Trustee is a member of the Pastoral Council.
The Treasurer Trustee is a member of the Finance Council.
The term of office is two years.
This ministry will help you discover the joy found in becoming the hands and feet of Jesus Christ by providing physical and spiritual nourishment to those in need;
assisting others along their life's journey to lessen their hardships and struggles and bringing smiles, joy and hope to others.
Some ways we reach out are holiday giving programs, helping at local shelters, and various mission projects.

Holy Spirit, along with other community volunteers, offers a free wam meal to individuals looking for a caring, compasionate environment.
Volunteer in the areas of:
Made up of parishioners dedicated to providing pastoral support visits/ or Eucharistic ministry visits to our homebound as well as those hospitalized, facing a time of crisis, trauma, or personal loss (ie. grief survivors).
These individuals that receive pastoral support are referred to as Care Receivers.
Initial and ongoing training/support for volunteer Care Ministers provided.
Isaiah says, "...and if you spend yourselves on behalf of the hungry and staisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday."
The Manna Ministry team is called upon periodically to make and/or deliver meals to individuals particularly challenged by the impact of a life changing event (e.g. birth of a child, job loss, move, death of a loved one, etc.)
Help with breads, bars, cookies, pies, salads, soups, casseroles, or pasta dishes are needed.
Pastoral Care Committee is open to any member of Holy Spirit Parish.
Interested volunteers meet from1:30-2:30pm the third Monday of each month.By definition, a shepherd is pastoral. According to Psalm 23, a good shepherd feeds, leads, guides, protects, and preserves.
Four times throughout the year, the parish delivers a plant and/or card to our homebound.
Volunteers are needed in September, December, February, and Easter week to help with the deliveries.
Because there are so many people in need of prayer, we have a prayer shawl ministry, a tangible evidence to those for whom we are praying.
Care and the love of knitting (and crochet) have been combined into a prayerful ministry that reaches out to those in need of comfort and solace.
Many blessings are crafted into every shawl. The knitter begins each shawl with prayers for the recipient. Intentions are continued throughout the creation of the shawl. When the shawl is completed it is offered a final ritual before being sent along its way. Any pattern and color is acceptable.
This team helps to provide a warm welcome to families and adults new to our parish. Many individuals are needed to help, including
Bake for special events, items such as bread, cookies, and bars.

Catholic Heart Work Camp is a week-long service trip to an urban city in the US to participate in various work projects such as gardening, painting, or working in a daycare or in a soup kitchen.
Signup in early November, with many fundraising projects taking place throughout the year.
Calling our young people to step up to be the leaders at this once per month Sunday evening Mass.
Holy Spirit Parish Youth Ministry is looking for a hardworking, dedicated, and fun loving high school student to help on Wednesday nights with projects and hanging out with middle and high schoolers.
Service ranges from putting together posters and entering info into Excel files, to playing dodgeball, serving pizza and cooking up waffles.
Time frame is flexible and includes lots of free food!
Looks great on job, college and scholarship applications.
Different needs for the Youth Ministgry program are met on the basis of your time and talents.
